The Canton Archives

These archives contain much of the history of Bryniau Tywynnog, written by and for its members. Current plans include capturing old back issues of the Phoenix (the canton newsletter) and other occasional (and often scurrilous) publications originating here, as well as capturing some of the articles and photographs of the Bryniau folk, appearing in local papers through the years.

These pages will be a long-term project, as facilities for scanning and reproducing the original newsletters become available.
